KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:15pm
Contract: Temporary until the end of the academic year (with potential to become permanent)

This role is ideal for a motivated and supportive Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with older primary pupils and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a positive and nurturing school environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across KS2, working closely with the class teacher
  • Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups
  • Assisting with learning activities and classroom organisation
  • Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working within KS2 (school-based experience preferred)
  • Be patient, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Be confident supporting learning across the KS2 curriculum
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Hold relevant TA qualifications (desirable but not essential)

The role is temporary until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
