Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools on the Wirral.

Our partner schools regularly require reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to provide continuity of learning when teachers are absent. Opportunities can range from daily supply through to long-term placements, making this an excellent option for candidates looking for flexibility or wanting to gain further classroom experience.

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students while they complete pre-planned lessons provided by the class teacher.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Ensuring students remain focused and engaged
  • Answering appropriate questions and supporting students with their work
  • Maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
