We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEN school in the NG5 area. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them to access education, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and associated learning needs.
- Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities.
- Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic development.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other support staff.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Is patient, caring, and resilient.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Holds a relevant qualification in Education, Childcare, Health & Social Care, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
