KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Sensory Class
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support within a sensory-based classroom in a specialist SEN setting in Warrington.
This is a general classroom support role working alongside the class teacher and wider support team to help pupils access learning, routines and sensory activities throughout the school day.
The class includes pupils with a range of additional needs, so the successful candidate will need to be patient, adaptable and happy to get involved with practical, sensory and classroom-based activities.
You'll be supporting pupils both individually and in small groups, helping with engagement, communication, regulation and general participation in lessons and activities.
Experience within SEN would be beneficial, particularly with pupils with MLD, SLD, autism or sensory needs, although the school are also open to candidates from care, support work or mainstream education backgrounds who have the right attitude and are keen to work in a specialist setting.

- Interested in developing their SEN experience
This would suit an experienced SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or somebody looking to move into specialist education.
