About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Barnet primary school in Finchley to find an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start, available Monday to Friday for the academic year.
You will provide support to pupils with additional needs within the classroom, working closely with teaching staff to support learning, engagement and wellbeing.
The school is particularly looking for someone with experience supporting children with ASD, alongside previous EYFS experience.
What we are looking for
- Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience - essential
- Experience supporting children with ASD - essential
- EYFS experience - essential
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs within a primary school
- A patient, nurturing and consistent approach
- Ability to work effectively alongside teachers and wider school staff
- Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge
