SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support - Islington
SEN Teaching Assistant | Islington | 1:1 Support | Long-Term Roles | £95-£110 per day, depending on experience and hours
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a number of primary schools across Islington who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.
These are ideal opportunities for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children on an individual basis and are looking for a consistent, long-term position within a primary school.
The Role:
- 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant support
- Long-term, full-time opportunities
- £95-£110 per day, depending on experience and hours
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Providing academic, emotional and behavioural support
- Helping pupils engage positively with their learning
- Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable
- Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs
- Patient, empathetic and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role
- Available 5 days per week
