Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Northampton? We have opportunities available for teachers seeking short-term cover, long-term positions and temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the flexibility to find a role that works for you.

You could be supporting pupils across primary, secondary or specialist SEN settings, depending on your experience and preferences. Schools we work with support pupils with a range of needs, which may include autism, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, communication and interaction needs, complex needs and EHCPs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, supportive and engaging learning environment that enables pupils to make progress both academically and personally. Depending on the setting, this could involve delivering differentiated lessons, working towards individual EHCP outcomes, supporting pupils with communication needs and working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff.

We are particularly keen to hear from teachers who are patient, adaptable and committed to helping pupils reach their potential. Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting is highly beneficial, although we are also happy to speak with teachers from mainstream backgrounds who have a genuine interest in working within SEN education.
