Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in SEN education? Tradewind Recruitment is working with multiple SEN and Alternative Provision schools across Northamptonshire who are looking for Science Teachers to join their teams.

We have a range of opportunities available, from short-term and supply work through to long-term and temp-to-perm positions.

The Role

You may be supporting students with a range of needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, autism, SEMH and behavioural challenges.

Depending on the setting, you may be required to:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
• Adapt learning and practical activities to individual needs
• Support students with MLD, SLD and PMLD
• Manage and respond calmly to challenging behaviour
• Support students with communication and interaction needs
• Work towards individual EHCP outcomes
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider school teams
• Encourage confidence, independence and engagement in learning

We're Looking For

• Qualified Science Teacher with QTS
• Experience within SEN, AP or mainstream education
• A patient, adaptable and inclusive approach
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs

SEN experience is beneficial, but we are also keen to hear from mainstream Science Teachers interested in moving into SEN or Alternative Provision.
