Secondary Geography Teacher - Lincoln

As a Secondary Geography Teacher on supply, you will;

  • Be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Geography lessons
  • Have a strong understanding of the Geography National Curriculum
  • Deliver a range of geographical topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4
  • Develop students' understanding of physical and human geography
  • Encourage students to develop their geographical skills, including map reading, data analysis and fieldwork
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Encourage students to understand geographical issues and apply their knowledge to real-world situations
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
