Early Years Teaching Assistant

Early Years Teaching Assistant | BL5, Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a warm, enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the BL5 area of Bolton.

The successful candidate will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally through engaging classroom activities and learning through play.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children during daily EYFS activities
• Working alongside the class teacher
• Supporting communication and language development
• Helping children develop early literacy and numeracy skills
• Supporting learning through play
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Supporting children's personal and social development
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Helping maintain a safe and stimulating classroom
• Following safeguarding and school policies

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a relevant Early Years, Childcare, Education or Teaching Assistant qualification OR
• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarily
• Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
• Have a genuine passion for working with young children
• Be confident communicating with children and adults
• Understand the importance of safeguarding
• Be reliable and committed
