Graduate Cover Supervisor - North Manchester

We are recruiting enthusiastic graduates for day-to-day supply work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across North Manchester.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Lead classes in the absence of the teacher
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provided resources
• Manage classroom behaviour
• Encourage independent learning and engagement
• Provide learning and pastoral support
• Complete a clear handover to the class teacher

Typical working hours are 8.20am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible ad hoc opportunities.

We're particularly interested in graduates with experience in schools, sports coaching, youth work, drama, clubs, summer camps, PGL, Scouts, Guides or other work with young people.

What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least six weeks' experience working with groups of children or teenagers within the last three years
• A suitable referee who can verify this experience
• The legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and professional references
• The ability to travel to schools at short notice
