Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Cricks

Location: Crick, Northamptonshire
Hours: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Contract: Part-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Crick, supporting pupils across the school during the school day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours within a primary school environment, whether you already have school-based experience or are looking to build on your existing experience working with children.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to provide support to pupils and help create a positive, engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
  • Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
  • Helping pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.
  • Supporting classroom routines and activities.
  • Providing encouragement and positive reinforcement.
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who is patient, approachable and enthusiastic about supporting children. Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable, but we are happy to consider candidates with relevant transferable experience and the right attitude.

You will need to be reliable, adaptable and confident working as part of a wider school team.
