This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour and personal development. You will play an important role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, improve their behaviour and attendance, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
Manage and support students with challenging behaviour.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
Monitor behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
Deliver targeted pastoral and behaviour interventions.
Work closely with teachers, parents/carers and senior leaders.
Support students with SEND and additional pastoral needs.
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and conflict.
Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Encourage positive choices, resilience and engagement with learning.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is calm, resilient, approachable and consistent, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
Experience within a secondary school, education, youth work or behaviour-support setting would be highly desirable.
