Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a small, welcoming 1-form-entry primary school in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, seeking an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Year 3 team immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident TA or LSA to provide targeted support within a Year 3 classroom, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and make positive progress. The school offers a friendly, close-knit environment where staff work collaboratively and pupils benefit from a strong sense of community.

The Role:

• Full-time Year 3 TA/LSA position

• Immediate start

• Supporting pupils across the classroom with learning and development

• Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional help

• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

• Helping to maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development

• Opportunity for a committed candidate to establish themselves within a supportive primary school

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA or Learning Support Assistant

• Experience supporting primary-aged children, ideally within KS2

• Confident supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis

• Patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive, adaptable and willing to support wherever needed

• A genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential

• Relevant TA qualifications or equivalent school-based experience
