Secondary Social Sciences Teacher - Lincoln

As a Secondary Social Sciences Teacher on supply, you will:
- Be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Social Sciences lessons
- Have a strong understanding of the relevant Social Sciences curriculum
- Deliver a range of topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4, including Sociology, Psychology, Citizenship and related subjects
- Develop students' understanding of society, human behaviour, social structures and contemporary issues
- Encourage students to develop their analytical, critical thinking and evaluative skills
- Support students in understanding different perspectives, theories and viewpoints
- Encourage students to engage with current affairs and apply their knowledge to real-world situations
- Develop students' ability to interpret, analyse and evaluate evidence and research
- Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities
- Encourage students to participate in discussions and develop their communication and argumentation skills
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings

- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
