Secondary Science Teacher - Lincoln

As a Secondary Science Teacher on supply, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Science lessons
  • Have a strong understanding of the Science National Curriculum
  • Deliver a range of scientific topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach a broad range of Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics, depending on your specialism
  • Develop students' understanding of scientific concepts, theories and processes
  • Encourage students to develop their scientific enquiry, practical and investigative skills
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical experiments and demonstrations where appropriate
  • Encourage students to analyse data, interpret results and draw evidence-based conclusions
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Encourage students to apply their scientific knowledge to real-world situations and current scientific issues
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
