Graduate Cover Supervisor - Hammersmith and Fulham

Are you a graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school? Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools across Hammersmith & Fulham to recruit motivated, confident and reliable Graduate Cover Supervisors for opportunities starting in September and October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or education. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will help keep students engaged in their learning by supervising classes, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Encourage student participation and support learning

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a degree in any subject

  • Be confident communicating with secondary-aged students

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills

  • Be professional, punctual, adaptable and reliable

  • Have previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

  • Hold an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for one
