It recognises that every child learns differently and places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, positive relationships and helping pupils develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
The school is looking for a teacher who understands the importance of adapting their approach to meet individual needs and who can create a structured, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teacher to support primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will deliver tailored lessons, adapt the curriculum and work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need to make progress.

- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN): Supporting pupils to develop communication, comprehension and interaction skills.
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH): Building positive relationships, encouraging emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour.
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD): Breaking learning into manageable steps and adapting activities to individual abilities.
- Sensory and communication needs: Using visual supports, clear instructions and differentiated resources to help pupils access learning.
The role will involve working collaboratively with support staff, implementing individual learning strategies, monitoring progress and creating a classroom environment where every pupil feels safe, valued and encouraged to succeed.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching primary-aged pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist or additional-needs setting.
- Can plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Understands strategies to support autism, communication needs and social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
- Is patient, resilient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education.
- Can work effectively with teaching assistants, parents and the wider school team.
What's on Offer?
- Immediate start in a full-time teaching position.
- Working hours of 8:30am-4:00pm.
- Pay in line with the teacher pay scale, depending on experience and qualifications.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's learning and development.
- Support from the dedicated team at SANZA Teaching Agency throughout the placement.
