Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate Start

A three-form entry primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

The role will involve supporting children in Reception, helping them settle into school life and develop their early learning, communication and social skills. You will work alongside the class teacher to support classroom activities, encourage positive behaviour and provide additional support to pupils who need it.

The school is a three-form entry primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham, with a well-established team and a focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. They are looking for someone who can work well as part of the Reception team and contribute to the children's development throughout the school day.

Pay

  • £95 per day for candidates with a minimum of three months' experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting.

  • £100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months' previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLD, or experience with personal care.

Pay is processed directly through our payroll team, with no umbrella company deductions.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Early Years or Reception

  • Understand the importance of play-based learning and early childhood development

  • Be patient, caring and enthusiastic

  • Be confident supporting children's learning, behaviour and social development

  • Work well alongside the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants

  • Be available for a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery setting

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
