Are you a passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher looking for flexible supply opportunities? Tradewind Recruitment are looking to connect with dedicated RE specialists to support secondary schools across Weston-super-Mare on a day-to-day and longer-term basis.

The Opportunity

We are keen to hear from RE Teachers interested in future supply assignments across Weston-super-Mare. You could be delivering lessons covering a range of religious and non-religious worldviews, ethics, philosophy and contemporary issues, helping pupils develop their understanding and critical-thinking skills.

As this is a speculative advert, opportunities will depend on school demand and are not guaranteed immediately.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Cover topics including world religions, ethics, philosophy and beliefs

  • Follow school schemes of work and curriculum expectations

  • Support GCSE Religious Studies classes where required

  • Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom routines

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where required

  • Create an inclusive environment that encourages discussion and independent thought
