The Opportunity

We are looking to connect with Maths Teachers interested in future supply assignments across South Gloucestershire. You could be delivering lessons across a range of mathematical topics, helping pupils build confidence in numeracy, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning, while supporting their progress towards GCSE examinations.

As this is a speculative advert, opportunities will depend on school demand and are not guaranteed immediately.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Teach topics including algebra, geometry, statistics and number

  • Follow school schemes of work and curriculum expectations

  • Support GCSE Maths preparation and revision where required

  • Adapt lessons to meet different learning needs and abilities

  • Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom routines

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where required

  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation
