Teaching Assistant (Early Years/Nursery)

Mornings Only

Part-Time (8.30am - 1.30pm)

Monday- Friday

SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of an excellent 4- form entry infant school in Havering. They are seeking an energetic, confident teaching assistant to work in early years (nursery). The roles will involve working 1:1 with a student who has Autism.

You will need to have a minimum CACHE Level 2 Early Years qualification to be considered for this role.

Further details:

  • Work as a 1:1 teaching assistant with a student in nursery, as well as provide general classroom support
  • The role is part-time, mornings only (8.30am - 1.30pm)
  • Monday- Friday
  • Havering (Hornchurch)
  • Parking available
  • School is located close to Romford station (Elizabeth Line & Liberty Line Overground)

About you:

  • Ideally holds a minimum CACHE Level 2 early years qualification.
  • Will ideally have experience supporting young people with Autism.
  • Will have experience working in early years (nursery/reception).
  • Understand the importance of learning through play and child- led exploration, and how significant this is for development within the early years.
  • Enjoy being active and getting involved with play- based learning.
  • Are observant and responsive to needs of individual children.
  • Are committed to supporting children with additional needs.
