The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated History Teacher to take on a full-time role in Bristol from November. You'll deliver engaging lessons across the History curriculum, helping pupils explore significant historical periods, evaluate evidence and develop well-supported arguments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Teach GCSE History and support examination preparation

  • Develop pupils' historical knowledge, source analysis and essay-writing skills

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Maintain positive behaviour management and effective classroom routines

  • Adapt lessons to meet pupils' varying abilities and learning needs

  • Contribute positively to the wider department and school community
