Sports Coach- Grimsby

We're looking for passionate Sports Coaches to work across a range of schools in Lincolnshire on a daily supply and long-term basis.

We work with fantastic schools local to you and are continuously recruiting for Sports Coaches and graduates to join us. Whether you're seeking a full or part-time role, we have opportunities to suit you.

The role is particularly well suited to people who are enthusiastic about sport, confident leading groups and passionate about helping young people develop their skills, confidence and teamwork. You do not need to be a qualified teacher, making this an excellent opportunity for sports graduates, experienced coaches and professionals from other backgrounds.

As a Sports Coach on supply, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions and physical activities.

• Coach students across a range of ages and abilities.

• Encourage teamwork, communication, resilience and sportsmanship.

• Support the development of students' physical skills and fitness.

• Maintain a safe, positive and well-organised environment.

• Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive participation.

• Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of different students.

• Support school staff with PE lessons, extracurricular clubs and sporting activities.

• Report any concerns relating to student behaviour, welfare or safety to the appropriate staff.

To join us and be successful as a Sports Coach, you will need to:

• Have a genuine passion for sport, physical activity and working with young people.

• Have experience coaching, leading sports activities or working with children and young people (desirable).

• Demonstrate strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.

• Be able to motivate and engage students of different ages and abilities.

• Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, with Overseas Police Clearances where applicable, or be willing to obtain one.

• Complete professional reference checks.

• Have a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.

• Have the legal right to work in the UK.

We regularly speak to candidates with backgrounds in sports coaching, PE, fitness, youth work, community sport, personal training and other people-facing professions who make excellent Sports Coaches.
