We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across a range of Secondary schools in Lincolnshire on a daily supply and long-term basis.

The role is particularly well suited to graduates who are considering a career in teaching, education, youth work or other roles working with young people. You do not need to be a qualified teacher or have previous classroom experience, making this an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience of school life before committing to teacher training or a longer-term career in education.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor on supply, you will:

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the usual classroom teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain appropriate classroom expectations and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their work and encourage engagement in lessons.
• Manage low-level behaviour effectively and confidently.
• Develop valuable classroom management, communication and leadership skills.
• Build positive professional relationships with students and school staff.
• Report any issues or concerns to the relevant teaching staff.

To join us and be successful as a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will need to:

• Be a graduate or have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
• Have a passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development.
• Be willing to complete any compulsory CPD training required by Tradewind Recruitment before commencing placements, where applicable.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident leading groups of students and willing to develop your classroom management skills.
• Be adaptable, reliable and able to use your initiative in different school environments.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, with Overseas Police Clearances where applicable, or be willing to obtain one.
• Complete professional reference checks.
• Have a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
