After School Club Assistant - Coulsdon, Croydon

Tradewind are Teaching Assistants interested in part-time and flexible support work at primary schools near to Coulsdon. We specifically provide support to a primary school after school club, and we would love your assistance!
This role is perfect for individuals seeking part-time, flexible work, or seeking part-time work. As an After School Club Assistant, you will provide support and host activities with children between 3pm - 6pm daily. We would ideally seek a TA with prior experience working in a primary or nursery setting, but not compulsory.
There is potential job share opportunities available, whereby you can do set days (can vary by school).
What to expect as a After School Club Assistant? Responsibilities include:
  • Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  • Organise and assist with fun, age-appropriate activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and social development.
  • Support children with homework and individual needs.
  • Prepare and serve snacks while following hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment.
  • Manage attendance and ensure safe collection by authorised adults.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Follow health and safety policies and club procedures
Pay: £15.00 hourly rate with 2 hours paid as a minimum for all staff. After school club assistance role is usually 3 hours.
