Full-Time KS1 Teacher - Oldham

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Oldham on a full-time basis, starting immediately, with the potential for the role to become long-term for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school where there is a strong focus on creating a positive learning environment and helping pupils develop the foundations they need to succeed. The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can bring energy and creativity to the classroom, build positive relationships and support children in making good progress.

The successful candidate must have previous experience using Read Write Inc. and be confident delivering phonics sessions, supporting early reading development and helping pupils build their literacy skills. Experience teaching across KS1 and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs would also be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have recent experience teaching within KS1.

  • Have practical experience delivering Read Write Inc.

  • Be confident with phonics, early reading and literacy development.

  • Have strong classroom management skills and high expectations.

  • Be available to start immediately and open to a role that could become long-term.
