Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of English looking for flexible daily supply work across Sefton?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting qualified English teachers to support secondary schools across Sefton, with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for flexible work and the opportunity to gain experience in different school settings.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher of English, you will:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach reading, writing, grammar and literature.
  • Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and high standards.
  • Adapt lessons to meet pupils' individual needs.
  • Support pupils' progress and develop their literacy skills.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Is reliable, flexible and enthusiastic.
