Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science looking for flexible daily supply work across Sefton?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting qualified Computer Science teachers to support secondary schools across Sefton, with immediate starts available.

This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking flexible work and experience in a range of school settings.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher of Computer Science, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computational thinking and computer systems.
  • Support pupils in developing coding, digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Computer Science or Computing at secondary level.
  • Has strong subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking.
  • Has effective classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is reliable, flexible and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
