Maths Teacher - KS3 & KS4 - Trafford

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Trafford to recruit a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Maths for a full-time, ongoing sickness cover position, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who can deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Daily rate: £174 - £240 per day (depending on experience)

The role

You will be teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a full-time basis. The school is looking for an experienced teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, the ability to deliver engaging lessons and excellent behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Have a secure understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum.
  • Be able to adapt teaching strategies to support SEND pupils and varying learning needs.
  • Create a calm, respectful and focused classroom environment.
  • Have high expectations and a proven track record of helping pupils make strong progress.
  • Be flexible, committed and enthusiastic about Mathematics education.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold QTS or QTLS.
  • Have experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Have strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching the Maths curriculum.
  • Provide a full CV with complete employment and education history.
  • Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
