EYFS Teacher - Croydon

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting the recruitment of an EYFS Class Teacher for a two-form-entry community Primary School based based in the Croydon area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Teacher seeking a long-term contract, or, their next permanent role. We can offer a 12 week temp to perm, meaning, you can assess the contract before committing permanently - if you are happy, you can join the school as a permanent member of staff in as little as 3 months!

The Role

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities within an EYFS setting, including planning and delivering engaging, play-based lessons, assessing children's progress and supporting their individual development.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has strong EYFS teaching experience, ideally within Reception.

  • Has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework and Early Learning Goals.

  • Can confidently take full class responsibility, including planning, assessment and classroom management.

  • Creates a fun, engaging and nurturing learning environment that supports children's development.

  • Can adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities.

  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and works well as part of a team.

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

Pay

This position is offered to Teachers within the Main Pay Scale (MPS1 - MPS6), equivalent to £200.99 - £267.89 per in a daily rate equivalent via PAYE on a weekly basis.

ECTs will be offered MPS1 with pay scale offers based on experience.
