Teaching Assistant

WE ARE RECRUITING - TEACHING ASSISTANTS NEEDED IN TAMESIDE!

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Tameside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have a genuine passion for education and supporting children with their learning and development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a UK-based school.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - highly desirable.
• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification - desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

General roles and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEN.
• Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, participation and independence.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Helping to manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher.
