The Opportunity

SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with an outstanding primary school in Hackney to recruit a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Taking full responsibility for the teaching and learning of your class.
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.
  • Establishing high expectations for behaviour, achievement and classroom engagement.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Has strong curriculum knowledge and effective lesson-planning skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
  • Is confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
  • Has high expectations for pupil progress and achievement.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
