Tradewind’s Permanent Division was established to focus on teachers who are looking for the opportunity to find their next position in a time efficient, effective manner. We work with teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers from NQT through to Headteacher!
Based on how popular NQT’s have been with our schools we have developed a unique event that aims to bring trainee teachers and heads face to face early in the academic year which can lead to full interviews and a potential job offer. The event is called: NQT Masterclass and Headteacher meet.
Tradewind’s NQT Masterclass and Head Teacher Meet
Primary NQTs - Tuesday 18th February 2020, 12pm - 4pm
Secondary NQTs - Thursday 20th February 2020, 12pm - 4pm
This is a unique, invitation only event that brings trainee teachers together with actively recruiting Senior Leaders. The event is free of charge and offers;
- Presentation and QA session with the Executive Headteacher of the Lion Trust, Justin James who will explain what schools are looking for during lesson observation and interview.
- An opportunity for trainee teachers to go and meet with Headteachers and senior leaders from a range of schools in the London and South East region who are recruiting for NQT’s to join in September
- Opportunity to meet with the Permanent Division’s experienced consultants who will be on hand to discuss roles at other schools
All roles that Tradewind offers at this event are permanent NQT roles only – not supply! The whole event is completely free of charge and is an excellent opportunity for student teachers to find a role quickly and efficiently, minimising the amount of time taken away from studies or teaching practice.
Last year our Masterclass included trainee teachers from 12 universities and we placed over 70 NQTs into permanent roles! Due to this success, we are expecting to work with 200 NQTs for 2020.
