At Tradewind, we’ve established rigorous vetting procedures and ongoing training programs to ensure every candidate we place meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Every candidate we place undergoes a rigorous safeguarding and compliance process, including:
- Identity and right to work verification (ID, proof of address, NI number)
- Enhanced DBS and barred list checks
- Prohibition and Section 128 checks
- Qualification and TRA checks (if applicable)
- Minimum of two verified references
- Fitness to work assessment
- Professional conduct and safer recruitment review
- Overseas police check (if applicable)
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our vetting procedures to meet the Department for Education’s Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines giving you complete confidence that your students are in safe hands. Through our Tradewind Partnership, we offer a wide-ranging CPD programme tailored to meet the evolving needs of your schools and staff.
Annual Safeguarding Training
As part of our commitment to compliance and quality all candidates receive FREE safeguarding training annually, in line with the latest KCSIE standards.
