Taylor has quickly, quietly and calmly learnt the essentials of working in an AP Academy. He has formed relationships with pupils that have supported those pupils to make better decisions and move forward with their learning.
He is an assured, reliable member of the STLA Team at the school. His colleagues know they can rely on him - and they do!
Amy W, Primary Teacher - Nominated by a Headteacher in Nottingham
Amy has made an impact at our school. She has slotted in as part of the family and provides care and high-quality teaching to children across the school. She is clearly a talented teacher who forms effective relationships with staff and children alike. Amy is adaptive and thrives working with children.
She has quickly become an effective member of the team.
Amber K, Primary Teacher - Nominated by a school in Derbyshire
Amber has been at our school since January 2026 covering maternity leave; and honestly, we don't see her as a 'supply teacher'; to us, she is just 'one of the team'. She has formed really positive relationships and is extremely well-liked by the children, their parents and the staff.
Amber has gone above and beyond in her role as a supply teacher, staying late for staff meetings and parents' evenings, and was recently seen busting her best moves on the dance floor at our school disco! She is such a positive role model for the children at our school, and Amber's teaching practices align perfectly with our school values of kindness, respect, ambition, responsibility, curiosity and being brave. We are proud to be a happy and nurturing school, and Amber supports and strengthens this ethos.

Jess R, Cover Supervisor - Nominated by a school in Chatham
Jess started this academic year with us as an agency TA and went permanent with us in April. Since then, Jess has consistently challenged herself and worked hard to improve the education outcomes for our students. Jess has since stepped into the role of a Cover Supervisor in delivering various PE lessons across our setting from Year 7-11 and in our ASD units.
Jess has supported a wide range of students to engage and have access to high-quality PE.
Thwasin A, Premises Assistant - Nominated by a school in London
Thwasin is a very pleasant young man. He learns fast and is always willing to do tasks. He has really contributed to the premises team and is always smiling. As his line manager, I can truly say Thwasin deserves such an award.

He is always happy to help; this is reflected in him taking on a form group recently and running subject-specific revision sessions for GCSE exams.

Shamima teaches and communicates complex ideas with clarity, adapting her approach to meet the diverse needs of each child in any classroom/year group setting. Shamima quickly builds strong relationships with learners, creating the trust and confidence that enables students to take risks, engage, ask questions to learn and grow.
She is truly an AMAZING all-around teacher.

Claire has joined our busy AP Academy as a Pastoral Officer. She has taken to the job like the proverbial fish to water. She has made an immediate impact on the lives of some of our pupils and their families.
The staff team which she supports have gone out of their way to ensure the Academy's management team are aware of her impact and how glad they are about her recruitment to the Academy.
