Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant to join our school community. Your role will involve providing essential support to a student with additional needs, ensuring they have a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to the assigned student, assisting with their educational and emotional needs.
• Able to promote strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create a tailored learning plan for the student.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the student's growth and development.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate effectively with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with additional needs is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and caring attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
