Tradewind recruitment are currently working to recruit an outstanding A Level Maths teacher to undertake a long-term role in a thriving further education setting. This position is to start September 2020 and is anticipated to last until at least February half term 2021. You will be covering a period of absence due to a maternity leave which will be on a full-time basis. All planning and marking associated with a teaching position are expected in this role and for that reason, the successful candidate will be paid between £125 & £185 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

As the successful applicant, you will have the knowledge and experience to guide students through their examinations and will have demonstrable results in delivering excellent outcomes for all.
The right candidate will have access to a great support network within the Maths team and enjoy using processes which support staff to manage students effectively.

The education provider in question has been supporting students both local and further afield for many years, receiving feedback from Ofsted describing it as having OUTSTANDING teaching and learning.
The setting prides itself on its family feel and works hard to provide an abundance of pathways to it's students.

In terms of timetabling, you can expect to deliver most of your lessons to KS5 students. However, there will be some remit around KS4 students too.
Supply staff in this setting are welcomed as part of the team, and you can expect to be treated as a permanent member of staff.
Due to the location of this school, access to your own transport is advised as public transport links are limited. There is ample onsite parking for staff as well as excellent facilities such as fully quipped staffroom.

The role:
* Delivering Key Stage 4 & 5 Maths
* Planning, marking and assessment
* Attending training afterschool hours and parents' evenings as required
* Promoting positive behaviour

QTS is essential for this post as is a DBS, right to work in the UK and a CV with a full 10 year work history.
