A lovely primary school in Southend are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team between now and October half term. The post could either be up until February half term or beyond.

The main responsibilities are varied reception duties, someone proactive, friendly, willing and who has a can do attitude. You do not necessarily need to have experience working in a school reception, though some office based experience or reception skills would be advantageous.

The working hours would be 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) with an hour for lunch. You will be responsible for duties such as answering the phone, data input for registers and school dinners and photocopying. The school have said they do have some flexibility around hours and could accommodate someone on a part time basis.

Due to the urgent matter of this position, an existing DBS on the Online Update Service is advantageous but is not essential. The school would like the successful candidate to meet the team ASAP before they finish for October half term, with the view to start on the 4th November - if not sooner!
