We are looking for:
*A candidate with energy and passion for KS3-KS5 and ideally a background working in a Secondary school for more than 1 year
*Art and Design background or experience inside or outside of the classroom
*Degree or equivalent qualification in art or design related field preferred
*A candidate who is familiar with up to date safeguarding policies and procedures
*Someone within daily commuting distance from Kidbrooke station in Lewisham
*A candidate with a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to participate in a DBS check

Job Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant will include:
The Art and Design Teaching Assistant will support the Art department for KS3-KS5 classes, taking part in daily lessons as needed within the art department. The role will include supporting small groups and 1 to 1 sessions as lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of each student. An ability to aid students in their visual + design arts work and an understanding of MLD and SEN needs will be important in the success of the Teaching Assistant.
