Assistant Cook

Tradewind are seeking an Assistant Cook to work in a specialist residential provision in Barnsley. The role is on a 2 week rota basis for 20 hours each week. The salary will range from £16,500- £17,900 pro-rata.

The role is based in a residential setting that caters for children with a wide range of SEN / complex needs. It is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation which and plenty of opportunity for future progression. They are fortunate to have a dynamic, dedicated and passionate team of support staff.

They are looking for an experienced Assistant Cook who can work for 20 hours a week. The role will be on a 2 week rota basis, working Friday to Sunday one week, and Monday to Friday the following week. They are looking for an Assistant Cook who can prepare and serve hot and cold food for regular meals and special functions, maintain excellent relationships, follow schedules and work flexibly. The Assistant Cook will be required to hold a relevant qualification in food prepartion/cooking/hospitality. They will be able to maintain high levels of hygeine in all areas at all times.

Essential requirements:
Prior Assistant Cook experience, food hygiene / food preperation certificate, DBS check
