Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Supporting Students: As a Behaviour Improvement Room Officer, you will work directly with students in the exclusion room, providing guidance, encouragement, and support to help them manage their behavior and engage in positive learning activities.

🔹 Encouraging Learning: You'll play a crucial role in fostering a conducive learning environment within the exclusion room, encouraging students to stay focused, complete assignments, and participate in educational activities.

🔹 On-Call Duties: You'll be responsible for assisting students transitioning from the classroom to the exclusion unit, providing support as needed and ensuring a smooth transition process.

🔹 Monitoring the Campus: As part of your duties, you will monitor the campus to ensure a safe and secure environment for all students and staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

🔹 Experience in Behaviour Management: Previous experience working with students in a behavioral support role, preferably within a school setting, is highly desirable.

🔹 Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively engaging with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

🔹 Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to working with students who may be experiencing behavioral challenges, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

🔹 Commitment to Inclusion: A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity, and a willingness to support students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
