Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School in Harrow

Rate: £12.50 to £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are an esteemed education agency representing a leading Secondary School in Harrow, London, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our committed team. If you have the expertise to promote positive behavior and create a supportive learning environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support the school's behavior management policies.
  • Work closely with students to understand and address challenging behavior.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to promote positive social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to create tailored behavior plans.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the overall school environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of behavior incidents and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and engage them in the learning process.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenging behavior.
  • Familiarity with the UK educational system is advantageous.
