Are you an enthusiastic and well organised Catering Assistant seeking a flexible new part time role?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a charming and welcoming primary school to assist their recruitment of catering staff. The urgent need (to start ASAP) would be a General Kitchen Assistant with the potential need for a Kitchen Manager.

The main duties would be the service of the food, some preparation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area. A Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous, as would similar experience as a Catering Assistant/Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 hours a day Monday to Friday. The hours would be 8:30am to 1:30pm.

This charming school is situated in Stansted, easily commutable from parts of Essex and East Hertfordshire.

The successful Catering Assistant will be:
Committed to achieving high standards in their work
Up to date with their Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferable)
Honest, reliable and hardworking and able to work using their own initiative
Good at prioritising and meeting deadlines and to work independently
Willing to attend relevant courses to develop their expertise
Punctual and have good record keeping skills
Flexible and cheerful and enjoy working with children, parents, governors and staff
A good team player and willing to become involved in various aspects of school life
