Teacher of Computer Science for full time post next term

A dedicated and dynamic teacher of secondary Computer Science is required to teach full time from next term at an Outstanding boys school in the Borough of Merton.
This post is due to start on the 15th April and Interviews/ trials will commence asap.
The IT department at this very high achieving school have a very supportive and experienced team and all members of staff are provided with laptops.
Essential Criteria:
- Either a recent graduate or an experienced teacher
- A cheerful, enthusiastic and well-presented person, capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents.
- Excellent communication skills, oral, written and in the use of ICT
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team and willing to contribute to Departmental resources.
- Calmness and efficiency and the ability to work under pressure at certain times.
- Commitment to continuing professional development through attendance at INSET
- Fully aware of Health & Safety issues.
- Aware of the nature of the School and prepared to commit to its all-round ethos, extra-curricular activities and pastoral approach.

- Be available to start from Monday 15th April
- Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
