Are you a Constructor Tutor or Resistant Materials Teacher looking for a new challenge in a SEMH School in Burnley?

Tradewind are currently looking for a hardworking, experienced Constructor Tutor or Resistant Materials Teacher to join a SEMH School in Burnley. This position is starting in September for a full academic year. This is a full-time role and could potentially go permanent.

As a Secondary Constructor Tutor/Resistant Materials Teacher your job will be to teach and deliver to pupils across KS3 and KS4 by working with small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and academic development. Your role will involve teaching pupils with behaviour difficulties or permanently excluded from mainstream school and pupils who cannot attend mainstream school due to medical reasons. Experience is not essential however a patient and determined character is needed.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Construction and/or Resistant Materials and have experience in delivering either Plastering or Brickwork. They must have a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification.

The SEMH is based in Burnley and is easily accessible via public transport. There is also a free car park for drivers.

Essential requirements:
*Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Experience in delivering either Plastering or Brickwork.
*Must have a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of a PTLLS qualification.
*Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
*Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential
*Experience with working on a 1-2-1 and group basis
*An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
