Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in located near to the Rubery area in the district of Bromsgrove and suburb of Birmingham. This position will be for the entire academic year and offers a competitive daily rate between £80-109 per day. For suitable candidates permanent contracts are available.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students across KS3 and KS4, ensuring their access to the curriculum while maintaining a conducive learning environment for all. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-planned lessons across various secondary subject areas. We are looking for an ideal candidate who has prior experience supporting students in a Secondary School or Further Education setting as a Cover Supervisor.
To be successful in this role as a Cover Supervisor, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
- Possess previous experience working with students aged 11 to 16.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong interest in working in the education sector.
- Demonstrate confidence in managing behaviour within a classroom setting.
- Showcase passion and hard work, along with the ability to work with students of varying abilities.
- Be a committed practitioner, striving for the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout your role.
