The Role: As a Data Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the school's data systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collating, inputting, and analysing data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Generating reports and providing insights to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Managing data compliance and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, including GDPR.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to streamline data processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of data-related policies and procedures.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in data management or a related field, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in using data management software and tools, such as SIMS or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
