Are you a passionate Design Technology Teacher in search of your next opportunity this Easter? If so, Tradewind is eager to receive your application!

Tradewind is presently recruiting a Design Technology Teacher for a highly sought-after secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time position for one term initially, with the potential for extension. The school is open to considering Design Technology specialists who can teach Food, Textiles or Resistant Materials. The pay for this position will be based on experience up to UPS3 equivalent per day. Both newly qualified teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4.
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
  • Provide a comprehensive 10-year career history.
  • Present a minimum of two references, including your most recent employment reference.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
