Permanent Role - Design and Technology Teacher for September 2024!
Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher to work in an exciting secondary school in the Thanet area from September. The role is full time and permanent with a salary of between £30,000 and £46,525 depending on experience. Both experienced and ECT's are encouraged to apply!
The role:
- Plan and deliver creative Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Monitor and assess the progress of the students ensuring support is provided where needed
- Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
- Liaise and collaborate with colleagues both within the department but also within the wider school effectively to ensure a consistent approach to teaching
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology across both KS3 and KS4 year groups
- Strong subject knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum across all disciplines
- Right to work in the UK
- Hold or be willing to apply for a DBS certificate on the update service
